Mikaela Zito is a consultant at GoldSpring Consulting, specializing in strategic meetings management. An accomplished leader with over a decade of experience within the event management industry, Mikaela has project management, organizational, and team-based skills and possesses the ability to resolve issues practically and efficiently. With a background in high-energy environments interacting directly with clients, she is a detail-oriented, mature professional always ready to tackle a new challenge.

Mikaela has worked with boutique and global event management firms, each providing a unique set of skills. Starting her career with Fenway Sports Management (the sister organization of the Boston Red Sox), Mikaela delivered creative recommendations for new concepts, sponsorship activation, and client promotions to satisfy long- and short-term marketing objectives. She assisted in preparing and executing all major FSM events, including charity golf tournaments, celebrity soccer clinics, sports award shows, corporate functions, and MLB Fan Travel Programs (Red Sox, Royals, Cubs, Dodgers, Rangers, and Indians). She was also one of four planning/onsite team members for the inaugural Red Sox Women's Fantasy Camp.

While at American Express Global Business Travel, she worked in the Meetings & Events division. She worked directly with clients on over 50 events per year, ranging in size and scope (15 – 1,500+ participants). She oversaw all aspects of the events, from vision to reconciliation, including website/registration creation and management, venue sourcing and contract negotiation, food and beverage design, AV requirements, transportation, theme & décor, vendor management, budget creation and reconciliation, timeline management, onsite coordination, and staffing supervision. She managed event budgets of $1.5M+ while consistently achieving a minimum cost savings of 15-20% per event.
